A unified InsurTech platform
Insurance Exchange is a cloud-based InsurTech platform designed to simplify the complete insurance sales lifecycle.
The platform replaces disconnected spreadsheets, emails, provider portals, and manual follow-ups with a centralized CRM where agents manage quotes, customers, providers, communications, and business performance in one place.
Improve agent productivity, increase quote conversions, and give management complete visibility.
A slow, fragmented sales workflow
During stakeholder discussions we discovered that agencies relied on multiple disconnected systems to manage customers and providers. The workflow was slow, repetitive, and lacked visibility.
- How many active quotes are in progress?
- Which agent performs best?
- Which provider generates the highest revenue?
- Which customers require follow-up today?

One ecosystem, three outcomes
A unified insurance ecosystem where agents sell faster, managers see everything, and customers get a seamless experience.
Listening before designing
- 01Stakeholder Interviews

- 05Existing CRM Evaluation
“I don't know which quotes are stuck unless I ask every agent.”
“Most of my day is spent switching between provider websites.”
“We don't have a complete communication history with customers.”

Role-based, not generic
Rather than designing a generic CRM, I created a role-based platform where each user sees only the information relevant to their responsibilities.

Four workspaces, one flow
Dashboard
Managers lacked visibility into business performance.
A real-time executive dashboard displaying total transactions, sales volume, active quotes, monthly trends, quote insights, top companies, top states, provider performance, and revenue growth.
Designed KPI cards and visual analytics that let managers assess business health within seconds.
Quotes Management
Agents struggled to manage many customers and stages simultaneously.
A Kanban-inspired experience with stages: New Leads, Contacted, In Progress, Quoted, Bound, Closed. Each card surfaces customer details, policy type, quote amount, priority, days in stage, follow-up reminders, and quick actions.
Surface critical info directly on the card so agents can act without opening extra screens.
Providers Management
Agents had no easy way to compare insurance providers.
A centralized directory with provider ratings, product offerings, transaction volume, growth trends, sales performance, and active agents.
A comparison table enables faster provider selection and informed recommendations.
Contact Center
Customer communication was fragmented across calls, emails, and messages.
A unified communication hub with contact history, call logs, email tracking, SMS records, follow-up notes, and outcome tracking.
A chronological interaction timeline gives agents full context before contacting a customer.
